Body Lift Question

Either used, or they are talking about a 1" body lift.. those arent too expensive, a good 3" bodylift from PA has all teh needed equipment for the lift, and costs right around $200ish

the '00 and older kits for some reason are cheaper priced than 01+. One thing to watch out for, is that i am still unsure how your front bumper mounts on the 06+ trucks. Everything else will work just fine....just that front bumper is weird...being as it's a bumper cover that's push pinned into the actual metal bumper.

Yeah, I am hoping to get to order the kit in a few weeks.
I guess the other ones could have been used or a 1 inch lift. I know I want a 3" lift on mine.
On a side note, Will I have to get different shocks or anything when I install my Add-A-Leaf and Shackle's?
Also, Were can I get the Spindles for my truck to lift the front?

If your gonna put Spindles on the front i'd gte them off Modbargains. heres the link

If you want u can get new shocks for lifted truck but...i mean its up to you.
If you get Spindles u'll prob need Chevy Drop Shackles and a AAL and you should be even.

Doestesh or whatever has some good spindles...that you can order JUST spindles. I don't know how to spell the name. lol. (Are you a 2wd?)
For now w/ a bodylift, just run an AAL in the rear. If you do AAL and shackle, it'll have a "cool" rake to it even if you maxxed out the tbars. But that's just my opinion. Also, you should get new rear shocks when an AAL and Shackle are used together. My rear currently has just an aal, and the shocks are almost maxed out @ full extention.

I am a 2wd. I am going to install the AAL and then Max out my T-Bars and then we shall see if I want to install the Shackle or not. I this shackle is either a 1" or 2" lift (it has 2 different holes in it) So I might end up using the lower hole. We shall see in a little while.
Thanx for the info on the Spindles. I know when I do Spindles I will be getting shocks (or I may get them before and install them before the Spindles or something.

I got the AAL on and I might go ahead and throw on the Shackles. My T-bar had alot of adjustment out of it and made it where the truck is level as it sits right now. So I think with the Shackles it will lift it just enough to were it doesnt look weird.
Although I think I will need to get some shocks to give me some more travel.
I am looking at these. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
Anyone know if these will work good?
