1" body lift?

I have access to 1" aluminum pucks that 3" in diameter. Is there any reason I shouldn't use them for a body lift? Only reason I am asking is the 1" pucks on ebay are poly.

unless u pay big bucks for the aluminum body lift, (maybe custom?) then the body lifts come with nylon or w/e blocks

even if you have access to the pucks.. theres still a bunch of other stuff that comes with the body lift kit.. radiator drop brackets, ground straps, steering extension, gas filler extension, bumper lift brackets..

Thanks, I didn't think it would be the best thing to use. But they would have been free. I know years ago a few people had used them on their full size trucks. That was back in the early 90's.
