2wd and 4wd body lift

how come that body lifted 4wds look so much better than say a 2wd coil sprung like mine? every time i try and talk my self into a body lift i look at pics and say nah, altho some coil sprung trucks look better that others. i was just wandering if it was cause of the t bars or is there somthing else im missing??

Well you 2wd sits lower from the factory if your refering to height. I have never noticed any difference in look though other than that...

yeah most of us who have the 4wd's and a body lift have also cranked our torsion bars so we're a little big higher than you coil sprung guys. I hate my body lift.. i mean yea it served its purpose for fittign the 33's but id much rather have gone the suspension route.

idk i always thought the frame hung lower on the 2wd? maybe its just causer xlt are lower to begin with and cause you cant fit as big of tires

see i dont really offroad so i wanted a bl just for the purpose of 31s but i hate how low my frame would be

I have a 09 ranger 2wd and it looks good with a bl.. Go for it.. you might like it in the long run.. I mean pictures are pictures but the actull thing is somthing else..

cool just answered my nect question. my only real concern was the fram but i could just put my step bars back on to help hide it. you have no issues witht he 32s right

ya there is a 2 to 2-1/2 inch stock height diffrence from a xl/xlt and the edge/sport/4x4 models.. as in the frame issue its not too bad at all just be happy your not a chevy lol

sorry, but since xl, and xlt's sit lower from factory, i have a xl, just wondering if you think there would be any rubbing with 33 12.50's.

4" superlift 3" body lift and 33's, it needs 35's
