Body Lift Concerns....

Planning a 3" PA body lift for my 00' 2WD Ranger.

Question is, when the body goes up, I am guessing the radiator will also have to go up.. and since there is a fan shroud, the fan, will have to go up... so how is the fan going to go up when the engine does not?

I am missing a few things here.. but I'm trying to get the details lined out before I dip in..

I know the kit comes with a steering extension, but what about the brake lines and master cylinder, and all that other stuff? My truck is an automatic, so will I have to re-adjust anything with it?

Folks say the PA kits are notorious for awesome instructions.. are they going to be good enough to guide a n00b through his first lift?

Right now, the fan, and shroud and radiator are my concerns... and I know the answer is something simple, so tell me, cause I have no clue..

There are relocation brackets for the radiator, once they are installed the fan shroud will also be relocated as it attaches to the radiator. All of your other issues will be addressed with the instructions.

It does not require you to extend the brake lines or anything like that.

You will be fine. Take your time and read the directions. I was a newbie pretty much when i did my first body lift. i don't know what bed you got but the 2 flaresides i did we never used the gas filler neck thing.

Ok. Thank you so much.

I am planning the 3" PA Body Lift, and the 3" SuspensionMax Ebay spindle lift. I guess both of these kits come with everything I need?

Right now, I have:

The 3" Suspension lift, with 2 spindles for the front, and a box full of u-bolts and blocks for the back, & 15x10 Eagle alloy rims.

Coming soon is:

The 3" PA body lift, & 33x12.50 General Grabbers.

Hope it all goes smoothly.... *nervous*

Ok, new update, during the BL, I'll be ditching the stock gay fan, and hittin' my Ranger with an electric fan thanks to the big group buy! so I won't need to worry about the fan or anything, since it's gonna be booted anyway.

I'm just concerned about some hoses and tubes under the hood not being long enough to permit movement or anything... but iffin's you say it can be done, it can. I'm gonna pull the bedliner in a day or two and start soaking bolts with PB Blaster.

sounds like a good start..

the only thing you gotta look for under the hood is the tranny cooler lines will have to be extended and i think the a/c line gets in the way of the belt or something like that..somebody will chime in and back me up on this one..

other then that your good to go..cant wait to see them pics..

Yeah.... pics will defiantely be a must.... i'll burn a memory card on before and after's... lol...

thanks for all the input and help ya'll.. i cant wait to start pulling it all together. will probably have tires and rims ready to go by the end of this week, and hopefully the PA bodylift will be on it's way soon...

I'm gonna wait until i get EVERYTHING before i start putting together. i'll probably waste a weekend on the bodylift and fan alone... then the next weekend do the suspension so i can get my free alignment the following monday, and then i'll be good to rip!
