Body lift ???????
Alright so i have a 3" inch body lift on my truck. I know for a fact there is one lift block missing meaning there is a total of 5 blocks currently under the bed. When i bought the truck the previous owner gave me three extra so are the other two just spare? Also the 4 metal supports have not been welded on so does any one know where exactly there suppose to go?

Do you have rear gap gaurds? Those 4 blocks go in between the bed and frame...under the bed support rails. Lift the bed up and just sandwich those blocks between the bed and frame under those support rails...the rails currently have rubber pads underneeth them probably just hangin' in there under those said support rails. No welding needed...and they dont really need to go in there anyway...just don't try and haul 1000lbs of junk in the bed.
You should only have two extra bed blocks.....the BL's are for both shortbed AND longbed...and longbeds have 8 mounts....where as short beds have 6. Get that other mount in there! wtf happend there?

I guess the previous owner lost one of the bed bolts so they decided not to put the block in. I do have gap guards not installed though. I just took some pics so to give you an idea there is no rubber pads underneath the support rails maybe someone took them off.

my 93-94 kit didn't come with those, but the 95+ did. So whatever I never had them and haven't had a problem.... yet

probably just kinda fell off there.
Here's what you NEED to do....
Head out to a local hardware store, pull out your front passenger bolt and buy the same bolt from the hardware store. it's a long bastard...so you'll probably have to order it or somehting. they are metric and believe the bolts are 12mm x 1.50 x approx 250mm. I think PA's website has the downloadable instructsions w/ parts list....
