Body Lift Question

Ok, so im gunna hopefully do my body lift in the next 2 weeks... I was thinking.. should i keep the rear 3" blocks that the PA kit came with or go with some soft ride AAL's? i know nothing bout the aal's, but i want the best ride, and off-road capabilities.. more so with the off-road capabilities..

So, what should i do? i just ordered some new shocks for the rear.. superlift ones.. the superlift that i ordered came with the wrong shocks and no one wanted to take responsibility so its been running with the stock shocks..

let me know!

you have to use the blocks all around otherwise your body will be different levels and all out of whack and nothing will line up, making it look 100% ****ty.

Are you familiar as to WHAT a bodylift is? It lifts the body off the frame using spacers. If you decide to not use spacers in the back, your cab would be lifted 3" and your bed would be right where it's at right now. lol.

UNLESS you are talking about your 3" lift blocks that came with the Superlift. If you pull that block, and add an AAL for 1.5" of lift, you'd be still 1.5" too low......then you should add Belltech 6400 shackles(2" chevy drop shackles).

Rides great.

^^ that sums it up pretty good.

if your doing a BL, it doesn't affect the ride what so ever.

Do a body lift get a little more clearance you wont change the ride in any fashion

It will however, tighten up the steering wheel a little bit. That's all I noticed when I put mine on.

When I did mine, I had no need to move anything really(besides the fuel filler). I did move the biggest fuel line out of it's little clip on the frame...needed to be loosened up a lil bit.

I didnt do my fuel filler. I am worried about it breaking but I dont think it will. I didnt move my ac hose and it was rubbing on the belt and I pulled out of drive way and move down the street and was like dam t but it was to late. Now i have to fix that.

It took a good 45mins checking everything out before I started the engine on mine.

Umm...My PA kit came with a clamp that looks like a question mark that bolts to the alternator that keeps that AC line away from the belt.... Why dont people pay attention to the directions? IDK. But like a year ago we had a huge amount of people that did what you did....cut right through the AC line.
