Help!

We are in the middle of the body lift and have a couple issues to work through

How do you hold the OEM body mounts and bolts still to get them out of the the original spots? Either the bolts seem to spin or the mounts seem to hold the bolts from coming out of the mounts

I've heard of heating them up with a torch helps. Just be careful when near gas tank!
There is loctite on them from the factory.

usually you will have to hold the mounts with a big pair of channel locks, or vise grips, as they do have loctite on them, once they are loose a bit you can kind of tip them a bit for the vise grips to catch the plate on them ,

x2 You need to heat up the cab bolts to melt the thread lock thats on it. Do that and the air gun should remove them with no problems.

HEAT HEAT HEAT HEAT

If you dont have a Mapp gas torch or Propain GO BUY ONE NOW. you need it. the lock tite will fight you the whole way if you dont. heat the ever loving **** out of them from the under side on the cab mounts. if you get them hot enough you shouldnt even need to hold them but being you broke them loose from the rubber you will have to. get them HOT.

enjoy

Record was 2.5 hours to do a body lift. normal is about 6 hours. if you have the proper tools and read threw everything before should have to many issues

reading the tech I posted a while ago will also give alot of helpful tips to speed the process up
