My First Body Lift

I have a '97 single cab, manual, short box ranger. I would like to put a 3" bl on it. I have never done a bl before and don't have a whole lot of background knowledge about this task. I'm pretty sure I need to get a shift extension and that is about all I know at this point. If you know anything I need to make it successful or and things that may help make it easier. Anything will help! Thanks.

Mine is a '97 but would the same things apply to it as the 98-00? or do you have a link to a thread that applies directly to a 97?

its virtually all the same in terms of tips and suggestions since the body is the same from like 95+ but yeah, there are a few differences listed.

you could also grab pull the instructions before buying the kit from the Performance Accessories website and read before you buy.

Product page
http://performanceaccessories.com/ve...ml#/years-1997

Instructions are on that page as well as a PDF file.

if you read through those, have map gas/pb blaster you're good.
