How to put in Coil Springs for a 2000 ford Ranger

Hey guys, I am a little new to the Ford Rangers, and so as I was looking at the front of my truck and doing a little research on the internet and in my chilton manual I found out that my 2000 Ford Ranger doesnt have Coil Springs or struts or coil over shocks in the front. So I was wondering what does it have and is there a way in replacing it?

ok, thanks for the info, hopefully they come out with it quick for I heard that if you put a lift kit on it that it causes some strain on the bar and it doesnt give you a good ride

Torsion bars aren't going to give you a good ride anyway even if they aren't lifted. Also, the lift kit (depending on brand of course) doesn't really put any additional strain on the t-bars beyond just the added stress of bigger tires / more weight up front. I think most of them just use a drop bracket for the t-bars so they remain essentially the same. The added stress will affect things like driveshaft / ball-joints, etc.

Oo, ok. Now then is it easier to put on a lift kit on to a coil over shock suspension? For I have been meaning to put on a 3in lift kit on mine
