I took my 3" body lift off last summer, and have been thinking about a 1" body lift lately for a slightly better look with the 32s I plan on getting this summer. Would Cutting down the
3" blocks to 1" be a bad idea? I have the ability to turn them down on a lathe so I can get them all accurately 1" instead of just bandsawing them. Does this affect the structural integrity of the blocks? I could go and buy 1" blocks, but this is cheaper and easier for me to do.
Yes, because you can sell the 3in body lift to another member on here, and go out and buy the supplies to do the 1" body lift. PM Shane, he was 1" body lift before he did any "lifting" mods.
Did you not see the 1" BL thread at the top of this very section you posted in?
PA makes 1x3" lift blocks and a few members are running a 1" BL. They're only $1.99 each, it's worth it to just buy new blocks. Only requires the blocks and bolts w/ washers and that's it. All the info can be found in that thread.
