I will keep that in mind, just a quick question are the rear bolt caps located behind my jumper seats? Mine fold down sideways underneath the rear speakers, or are they under the carpet underneath the fish net? This will save me a bit of time if anybody knows so I don't have to go tearing up carpet for no reason.

You'll have to fold the rear carpet up if you've got a 2dr.....the rear cab mounts are on the floor. Under the carpet on a 2dr....under the seats on a 4dr. On a 4dr, all you gotta do is remove the jumpseats and bam, the bodymount bolts are exposed.

Interiors all pulled up, front bumpers off, bedliner was even more of a PITA to get this time out holy crap.. i had to rip it out pretty much I hate those plastic ones.. all thats left is I need to get PB blaster tomorrow morning and some loctite, and i need to take off the rear bumper and disconnect the tails and trailer hitch wires. I would have done that tonight but need to drive it tomorrow to go get my door fixed from the collision center. While I'm at it as mentioned above I'm going to go out and paint those bumper brackets.

I found some french fries under the carpet behind one of the jump seats.. those damn things do not rot :\

Here's the truck so far: Front bumper off, interior pulled up, cup holder assembly removed I had to pretty much rip out the shifter boot, bed liner out, All that's left is rear bumper, tails/trailer hitch wires to disconnect, rear bumper to remove, and anything else I'm forgetting I'll start the bed either Friday afternoon or Saterday morning I'll be getting up early.

Trucks filthy, I'll wash it tomorrow.

Rear cab bolts, messed up this shot oh well

Shifter boot up and out of the way, I rolled it back down for the night

Passenger cab bolt, I used the night shot feature on the camera for this one, I need to learn how to use this camera..

Only thing I was pissed about was on my driver side I couldn't take off the door jam scuff plate because 3 of those damn screws were pretty much rusted in, so I just ripped the carpet back from under the pedals, worked fine.

Out painting bumper brackets now.

If you'll look under the cab you'll see the cab support cross members under there pretty much under the door, DONT JACK UP ON THE PAINTED PART OF THE ROCKER unless you wanna a big ugly dent!! The bed i did by myself by hand the bed is not as heavy as it looks and do one side at a time.

heres a good pic of how to install those bed support blocks.....

Thats a perfect pic you didnt weld those in did you? People just said to put em in and the bed sanwhiching them will be enough.. how long of a board did you use to jack up your bed with and where did you position it exactly right above the mountain dew bottle? The cab I will be doing by hand, I need to pick up some stair rubber stuff and some self tapping screws tomorrow as well.

Are you doing this by yourself? If you have a friend just lift the bed up, no need for a jack

Yeah the support blocks just sandwich in there once you tighten the bed down. DUDE!!! you better do it the other way around. do the bed by hand and jack up the cab unless you eat ALOT of wheaties...lol!! The block (board) was a 6x6 post on a big jack and was only about a foot-n-a-half long or so. doesn't have to be long.

BTW!!! on the frame where the bed support blocks go the bed will leave a lil upward dimple there. Its like a soft small rubber mat where the y go. just mash it down with your finger and they'll go right in where you need'em.

I'd weld them but none of my friends have a welder, I think they would be fine sandwiched, so people say haha.

Thanks man! I'll remember that, I could lift the bed I'm pretty sure one side at a time, Doesn't look to me like it's too heavy.. but it looks like i'll be jacking it up since no one will be around to help me lift it on friday.
