lifting a 2002 ranger 4x4
My son has a 2002 ranger xlt 4x4 and he wants to raise it 2” to 3” and put 33” tires on it. What does he need to know about doing this to his truck. Ie.. does he just need a body lift kit, a suspension lift kit, new springs, shocks, steering adjustments, sway bar adjustments/upgrade, stronger drive train, etc.. What will be the cost that he will be looking at. Any and all input would be grateful.

cheapest way would be going with a body lift. just get a summit racing brand kit for a 98-00 (used one on my 04) and you'll clear 33's no problem.
while you're at it, get ingalls engineering camber kits for the larger tires. you'll want them so it can be aligned properly.
plenty of info on this topic around the forum, take a look around.
