The size of the project depends on how rusty the bolts are. Its a fairly basic project and a good way to convince HIM to do it is..... to not convice him to do it but do it yourself. good grief, does he still change your diaper too?

I need his help becuae I dont have the mechanical savvy to do it, and he paid for most of the truck for me. And btw, you can stop acting like an *** at any time.

Thats almost like not having the mechanical savvy to change your oil. Its very, very basic. I didn't have any mech. experience when I started working on my truck. I also didn't have someone w/ experience looking over my shoulder either. The best way to learn is to just do it. But a big point is who OWNS the truck. Is it yours or his? Either way, the statement "How can I convince him to put (a body lift) on (MY truck)" begs criticism.
And thanks for the permission, but I'll act the way a thread or post calls for.
And to the OP
Pros: Cheap, able to fit bigger tires, easy
Cons: No flexing increase, cosmetic reasons (shows frame, exhaust is "lower" from body), higher CG but that is from any lift.
Bottom line, if you just want to fit bigger tires on a budget a BL is a good way to go.
