hey i just have a quick (probably stupid) question about the front bumper when installing a bodylift..

ive been trying to explain the concept and practically of a bodylift to my dad... slowly hes coming around but we've still got a few unanswered questions...

anyways.. one of his concerns was the front bumper...

in the pics is how everything sits now... his concern was when everything is lifted the lower plastic facia will come in contact with the skid plate... or is this where the bumper brackets come in and correct everything??

no it will be fine, i have and 08 fx4 with a BL and the lower part of the bumper just barely clears the skid plate but it will work.

 

you must remember a lifted front bumper with the brackets it pushes out the bumper like what 1.5"-1.0" it clears fine.
