i would buy i gates or motorcraft belt and tensioner and do it yourself. I cant remember on the 2.3, im having a brain fart, but if the water pump is driven by the belt like a 1.9 and 2.0 are, replace it as well.

well for anyone that reads this, just fyi.

if you have the 2.3 in a 2001 it does not have a timing belt. that engine is a 16 valve engine that has a timing chain with no need to replace.

Are the spark plugs In the center of the valve cover? if so you have a chain.

If the plugs are not in the center of valve cover, you have the older engine. A 2.5L single cam engine wirh 8 plugs and the timing belt.
If this is your engine replace the belt, tensioner and water pump along with 8 plugs and wires.

2001 was a transitional year from the 2.5 to the new 2.3
