2.3 DOHC Transmission Removal?

Just wondering what the best way to access the top passenger side transmission mounting bolt?

Any advice welcome...

Thanks,

Jeff

remove the driveshaft
unbolt and remove the transmission crossmember
dis-connect any tranny wiring
use a jack and carefully and slowly drop the tail stock to the ground
this will give you enough room to remove the top mounting bolt
( make sure that you do not stretch the coolant hoses past what they can handle )

I suggest removing the inner fenders. That opens up GOBS of new found room.
