Hearing a noise

I have an issue. When I'm in third gear like 3000 rpm theres a ticking noise and when I shift to
4th gear theres a ticking noise starts around 2000 rpm. Right when pressure starts building up
Shift to 5th gear ticking noise the whole time.
The truck at idle no noise
Rev up engine no noise
1st and 2nd gear no noise
Starts in 3rd
If i ease off the gas peddle a little the noise stops
Press the gas peddle more it comes right back

Any ideas on what it might be?

I would check out the drive line

What you describe reads like it is drive line RPM related, speed based not engine RPM
nothing in 1st/2nd with slower drive line rpm
then as drive line rpms increase you start to hear it and then at top speed it becomes consistent

Could even be speedometer cable related
