How do you pull a distributor?

How do you pull the distributor out of an engine? I have a Hayes Manual, but ti didn't help to much. Your help is greatly appreciated!

bolt and clamp holding it down should be that one on the upper right look and see if there is a flat piece of metal under that bolt over the dist... if so remove bolt metal and pull striaght out

There is no bolt or screw visible to take off right now.

^^Yup....bolt circled above should be it. Take that puppy out, and slide the distrib straight out it's hole. But before you slide it out, take note to where the rotor is pointing, when you install the new one, you'll want it in the same location as it was before.

I'm so glad I could be here for entertainment purposes. I got it out though, took me less than a minute. I'll put the new one in tomorrow. I was really itching to see how hard it was going to be to get out.
