Do i need to adjust my clutch (ON PRESSURE PLATE)?

My truck is a 2001 2.3l ranger. I installed the clutch and slave , basically the whole kit.

Put tranny back on , wires, and driveshaft.

Now, i looked in the HAYNES manual and it says some models require a clutch adjustment. On the pressure plate.

Am i screwed??? (crossing my fingers)

No. I thought the same thing but the sliding thing is only there to make it easier to do the install.

Same as brakes. 2 people, one pumping and the other opening the bleed screw. Some one said point the front of the truck higher because it keeps air from getting trapped in the master cylinder. My driveway is slanted so I had no choice.
