Icon5 clutch pedal no pressure sometimes.

Hey guys got a unique situation with 1995 ranger 4 cylinder. Its a manual five speed. At times the clutch pedal feels like it has no pressure and therefore does not engage clutch to transmission and does not move only in reverse. Engine just revs. it has done this to me twice and have noticed it is only when i use the air conditioner for periods of time. i dont use the a.c much. After letting the Ranger cool for a couple hours when this situation occurs the truck is fine and the clutch pedal engages the clutch to the transmission and it moves. What can it be be? clutch, slave cylinder, hopefully not the tranny. i have checked the clutch fluid and its level, but the fluid looks a bit cloudy, not clear.

I’ve heard they can get air in them and a ***** to bleed.
Air gets trapped in the Slave.
Maybe a search on the subject will turn up the post on the air.

If the clutch is slipping as you described, you need a new clutch. Air in the clutch hydraulics causes the clutch to not disengage and it is difficult to get into gear. If you can get it in gear and let out on the clutch and the truck won't move, you have a bad clutch. Heat can make it worse.

just need to purge the clutch. i could get pics but probably the purge not in the same spot. maybe chainging the seals on the hydraulic pump. thats what im going to do as the clutch and everything else is perfect so the no preassure is that...

if u need to use the truck and have problems just pumpl the clutch 2 or a few times before engaging gears...
