Electrical problem?

Ok, I was driving home today in 95 degree heat...doing about 40 down the road after my 40 min commute.

Suddenly, the "check engine" light comes on and the truck starts running like CRAP!

I have the code checked and it says the #4 cylinder is missfiring.

So, I replace the old plug wires on all plugs...no help

So, I replace the plugs...no help

So, I replace both coil packs...not really any help

Well...I say no help...but what I really mean is that I've got one smooth running truck that still sounds like it's missfiring. Really running like crap...but doing it smoothly.

Any ideas????

Well, here is an update.

After FX's thought on maybe a fuel cleaner, I ran out at midnight and swapped the fuel filter.

Still...no luck.

so, now it is at the local Ford dealer who is charging me $79.00 an hour (I told them to go no further than three hours after waiting out the first hour) for diagnostics. THEN...if they figure out what is wrong with the #4 cyclender and it's firing issue, then they can tell me how much to fix it.

Damn

OK...Ford dealer called and says that it's 2 injectors.

I asked him if I could do the replacement myself and he said yes.

Asked him how much the injectors were...$102 a piece!!!

So, I ordered 4 from the local auto store and will put them on myself.
