Icon2 Killswitch problem 05 edge

I have this problem with my killswitch located under my passenger glove box (where you put your feet) and i find it to be really sensitive. The information i know about the kill switch is it cuts off the fuel line thus killing the engine incase of a car accident. Now there has been times when ill be driving and i hit some small bump and my car will turn off, no powered steering. I have to pull over reach ontop of my kill switch and push the button twice for my car to turn on. I have brought my truck into a mechanic shop and they "supposedly" fixed it. It worked fine for a few months then started happening. Does anyone else have this problem? or better yet does anyone have a fix to this problem. Ive consiered cutting the wire that comes out of the kill switch box but i fear my truck then wont start.

This is a really annoying thing our trucks, or atleast my truck has. ANyone else have these issues?
