year? mistakes...ummm.....not enough research...i honestly dunno dude. Search around rangerpowersports.com and you should find most of ur answers. I don't think most peopel get into any trouble until they start tuning the motor. But definatelly be careful w/ the wiring

Kik ***. Here some pics of mine

Mines out of an 85...so it's not intercooled...but planning on using a powerstroke intercooler. Good news is that mine has the T3 on it and the bigger injectors and VAM swapped in. I can't wait to get that motor in. I've been wanting a turbo ranger since highschoo...ur gonna love urs dude. Best of luck to ya

the reason i ask 4banged is because if you lay it down flat you can damage something.

Everyone and their mom has told me i should do a V8...but did u know the stock turbo 2.3 can hold more HP then a 5.0 block?
it has never laid flat. I'm hopin to start on it in 2 months or so...still need to get some small things. I'm hopin to have it finished in time for our club show in the fall.

If you are looking to go fast (hence "sleeper") why are you driving a ranger? lol
