i wouldn't go with a flowmaster, i just took mine off.

a 50 or 60 series might be ok, but i have no idea what they sound like on the 4banger.

Perhaps keep it stock? Most exhausts on 4 cylinders will sound like an exhaust leak or a coffee can type deal. So do some research first... But the 60 series flowmaster is made for 4 and 6 cyl vehicles. Perhaps look into that. I too am thinking on an exhaust but not sure yet.

I run a Warlock bypass mufler on mine, and with the plug in it's nice and mellow, but with the plug out it's all nasty and mean. How loud do you want to go?

Would like to get as close to a v8 sound as I can. Put the big cowboy tips on and run duels out the back. I know it wont sound like my f250. But didnt know if they made anything that could get close to that sound. I hear alot about flowmaster and didnt know if they really had anything in the deep tone for a 4 banger.

Well hate to tell you this but you're not going to get that v8 sound, or anything really close to it... Im not sure what you're expecting from a 4 cylinder...

If you want the V8 sound, go buy a V8... I'd say either got Flow 40, Flow 50 or stock...

Of course Borla is going to sound good. Who the hell pays that much for a muffler to sound like ****?

I had a Magnaflow with a resonator right after the cat on a 4cyl. Low rumble, no rasp.
