Need Guidance with lifting higher, and gears

I have a 2001 ranger reg. cab with a 2.3L with a 5.5" fabtech lift sitting on 32/11.5 BF tires.

Im wanting to run 35's on the truck which means ill need a 3" body lift, but i havent the slightest clue of gearing, or what gears i should get. She turns the 32's pretty well as is, but im sure im going to have to change some major things.
also what are some good performance mods which i can install for power and MPG.
Are the 35's a bad idea?
Thanks!

well bud Im going to assume you have 4.10 s on here now unless your buddy went up to 4.56(you need to ask him ) from there you'll need to look at a gearing chart like the link mudranger left you . Im not sure on any mods for the 4cyl engine is a engine swap possible bc if so it would make things alot easyer

with the 2.3 you would want 4.88s as a MINIMUM... when I go to 35ish tires im planning on 5.13s just to get a little extra umph to deal with all the extra weight of the 35s, and believe me, 35s weigh a good deal more than the 32s do.
