Speed Chip Ford Ranger

+20HP POWER SPEED CHIP FORD RANGER uses a resistance value of 4,300 ohms to override the sensor and signal the computer that it is receiving air at an optimal temperature of 61 degrees. Your car will accelerate faster and have a higher top end speed. This is a great mod for any car, and will definitely increase your HORSEPOWER up to 20 hp. Your 1/4-mile times will decrease a few tenths of a second or more and your 1/4-mile MPH will improve as well. QUESTION : Will That Really Do As It Claims?

There are a lot of threads on these. Don't waste your time, money or engine life on this POS. Horsepower ain't cheap. All those resistors do is fool your PCM into thinking that the incoming air is colder than it really is. Hence, it will compensate by changing the air/fuel ratio so you actually burn MORE fuel.

If you want real "bolt on" horsepower, go with a tuner, pullies, exhaust. That'll be $800 please.
