Headers, roller rockers, 3" stainless tip (Chrome is cheaper but high maintenance) and, believe it or not, a custom PCM tune. Tone is all about free flowing, hot exhaust gases finding their way out. With the proper timing and fuel mixture (for the fuel type and octane you are using), the exhaust note changes noticably. Headers provide a nice, crisp, low tone especially.

It's all about what you like, I like my straight duals. LOL, when I bought the truck it had the setup that it has now in those pics, after a while I decided to try something different. I had them take out the Y and weld in a si/do flowmaster 40 series. It sounded good, but I wanted it louder again so I went back to this setup. Im debaiting on the new super 44, but that won't be until later on... It's just all about what you want.
