2001 3.0 troubles

Ok fellas,

I have done the following and am needing some advice before I throw a tarp over it and call it done.

With in 2 days I have replaced below with new ford items:

Replaced heads with new updated castings and now have super compression.
Replaced cam position shaft and sensor.
Replaced Injectors.
Replaced Fuel Reg.
Replaced coil pack.
Replaced plugs and realized after installing them, then looking at the box, once truck was missing, that I was given a flex fuel plug and they are in a NON flex ranger.

I am about to pull them and check the gaps hoping that is my only issue.Called ford parts and was told the 22 (500) plug was fine to run in place of the 32 (432).

Ok now here is the kicker.It is very hard to start.But when I unplug my MAF it starts on the first try quickly.Plug MAF back in and she turns and turns then stumbles to running.

I consider my self to be a smart fella and a good machinist.So what am I missing here because after doing all this labor and spending all this money...im really kind of burnt out and need some one else looking from outside in,a fresh perspective.

Well people I have figured it out and I am not happy.It appears that the fella who always does my heads didnt lap the valves.Lowest test reads 30 on #1 and highest was 90 on #5 and the rest fell in the middle.

Sunday it comes back down....again!

Thanks for reading and I will update monday or tuesday when its back together.
