Icon5 '94 3.0V6 Help PLEASE!

my dad has a '94 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 3.0V6 and 5 speed he just bought for $500 bucks and it is very very sick. You have to let it warm up when you crank it or it just wont hardly go. When you take off its like a carb with the choke stuck, and then after it gets the RPMs up a little it will just take off like everything is normal. We have changed the plugs, gutted the cat, run fuel injector cleaner through it and couple tanks of 93, wires look good, and distributer cap looks good, no check engine light, no codes and gas milage is just terrible. If anybody has had this problem or knows how to fix it, i would greatly appreciate some help. Thanks

O2's. It runs fine in WOT because the O2's are bypassed, and O2's won't trip a CEL unless they fail completely.

its not just Wot that it runs fine, its still jumpy, it just kinda clears up a little and goes after the Rpm's build up from initial take off. Any more ideas?
