23.1 Mpg!!!!

I just recently moved from north Seattle to SAn Diego and on my trip I got an average of 23.1 MPG!!!! I cannot believe it. All I did was put new tires (Toyo Open Country 31/10.5/15) on and seafoamed the engine. the only problem I had on my trip was that my truck really stuggled going 55plus MPH up the mountains. Any help on this problem. Thanks for your time

for the mountains, drop a gear and get on the gas!

My highest average was 24.6 mpg going to virginia and back to pick up a subaru engine. I had an intake and exhaust with stock size tires

On my way back from Virginia I got 22mpg with mine so thats great if your getting over 23...When I was going through the mountains in WV I had to downshift a lot to get the RPMs up. 5th is a dog for the 3.0.

I got 24 MPG on my trip to South Dakota and back on wednesday! I couldn't believe it. 2000 Explorer 4.0 OHV auto 4:10's, 1 bad hub, a dirty airfilter, 140K miles, and shaped like toaster. Not sure how I pulled that one off

Under those conditions I think 15 is really good.
