I just recently moved from north Seattle to SAn Diego and on my trip I got an average of 23.1 MPG!!!! I cannot believe it. All I did was put new tires (Toyo Open Country 31/10.5/15) on and seafoamed the engine. the only problem I had on my trip was that my truck really stuggled going 55plus MPH up the mountains. Any help on this problem. Thanks for your time
On my way back from Virginia I got 22mpg with mine so thats great if your getting over 23...When I was going through the mountains in WV I had to downshift a lot to get the RPMs up. 5th is a dog for the 3.0.
I got 24 MPG on my trip to South Dakota and back on wednesday! I couldn't believe it. 2000 Explorer 4.0 OHV auto 4:10's, 1 bad hub, a dirty airfilter, 140K miles, and shaped like toaster. Not sure how I pulled that one off
im not sure what i get on the highway. last time i checked i was getting 15 on the highway but that was going like 70 w/ the a/c on and pulling my trailer with two quads on it and like 300 lbs of stuff in the bed so yeah lol. 23 is really good IMO
