3.0l sync sensor

I've been posting a link on many questions on this page on the cam sync sensor, because it is a common problem with the 3.0l and it will destroy a perfectly good engine and cause misfires, knocking squeeling and low oil pressure so I know its a link from another forum but its really useful information everyone with a 3.0l should know and remember because your truck is your investment.Ford Ranger 3.0L Camshaft Position Sensor

Yes, the CPS and synchro units are good for 80-100k and should be replace as regular maintenance.
If you hear a high pitched squeal, similar to slipping fan belt, replace it sooner
