whinning noise

when i goto gun it im hearing a whinning noise. doesnt do it just regular driving but when i get more then half throttle is when it really starts to be noticable. any opinions?

transmission? maybe u're just pickin up engine noise thru u're speakers....? i have that.......

when my wife and i drive around together i hear a whining sound from the passenger side of the truck and it never stops.

Idler pully, tensioner pully, bearings in the alt. bearings in the powersteering pump, bad belt, yadada...could go on for a while
