35"s on a 3.0 ???
I have a 4" superlift on my truck now, i haven't had the money to buy new tires until now i have about $2000.... I have pro comp mud terrain 31"-10.50-15s on it now... I was gonna buy some 33"-12.50s, but thought about a 3" body lift, and then 35"s.... does anyone have 35"s on their truck? What gears did you put in it to bring it down to about stock torque? What kind of mileage?

I'm not saying this is impossible, but I get roughly 14mpg average, granted I get 17mpg on the highway on ALL hwy. I have 4.88 gears so I highly doubt you are getting 18mpg. and I have a tuner.
When i had 4.10's and 35's I was getting 10mpg avg, and 4.10's and 33's I got 16mpg...
I think your speedo might not be calibrated, I'd love to get 18mpg

You need to regear ASAP lol, I HATE 3.73's and 33's and my trans gets pretty toasty. I can't even imagine 3.73's and 35's lol. Do you have a trans temp gauge?

i kno i kno it sounds crazy.. but i do the math every time i get gas. I kno my mileage and my "true miles". as far as trans temp no. i have a manual and it has no issues. runnin about 2400 rpm @ 76 mph. i just took a 1900 mile trip with no issues what so ever. course mileage dropped to about 14 15 mpg when i had to keep droppin to 4th. also i drive 45-55 mph on average. and i do mean averare. only at a dif speed about 10% of drivin times

ok. if im wrong someone correct me. but here is my math. I used my buddies gps to see how many miles I went vs how many miles read on the Odometer/ basically for every 1 mile on the odo, its actually 1.2 miles drivin. Just filled up last night at 211 miles which is really 253 miles. put 14.1 gallons in my tank there for 17.95 mpg.

Well...to put it blankly, 4.88's and 35's TOWING SUCKS. My trailer is just heavy enough for me to not be able to use O/D...so at 60mph I'm at 3000rpms, at 70 I'm screaming at almost 3500!! it sucks, 4.10's and 33's it used to be 3000rpms at 70! I liked that a lot more.
Just trying to help anyone else out who tows.
