Exaust question I searched and couldnt find anything

I have a question about Magnaflow. Well a few questions actually.

#1. I was told that if i was to swap from singel 40 series to Magnaflow that i'll need to go from a single chamber to a dual chamber. Is that true?

#2 What do you think about Magnaflow? Iv heard it was the best exaust company out on the market.

I searched for this question on the Magnaflow website and all it gave me was a picture of a single pipe. The motor make and modle that the pipe fit, part # and how much it was. 130.00 isnt a bad price But id be better off getting it at a shop because i can get it installed while im there.

Magnaflow is way better than Chokemaster. If you run a chokemaster it will make your engine sound like crap. Here is a site for decently priced Magnaflow exhausts. Performance Peddler

When you say "chamber" are you talking about single in, single out vs single in, duel out?
I had a single in, duel out Flowmaster 40 series on my 3.0 for a year or so. It was just to loud for me. (But I'm 71)
Went to a single in. duel out Magna Flow. Better, but I now have to muffler dumped at the muffler.
So it's still to much noise. Soon as I figure out how to get the exhaust out the back,
(I have bagged my truck, and that presents another set of problems.) I'm hoping that will quiet it down enough.
If not, I'll probably go back to a stock muffler. I didn't spend all that money on an audio system to listen to enging drone.
You should be able to get a new Flow or Mag on Ebay for about $65-90.

To go back to your original question. Single in/out vs single in, duel out.
You may lose a bit of low end due to reduced back pressure. Just keep the pipes stock size and you'll be fine.
