About to do a head job

About to do a head job
Welp, like a r-tard I ran it with a bad thermostat for too long and got in a situation (interstate) where I couldn't pull off safely and started blowing coolant into my combustion chamber.
So, this Thanks Giving Weekend I will be tearing her down, then taking the heads to a machine shop, and hopefully they aren't cracked. If they aren't, I'm going them do a complete head job (Valves, springs, rockers, etc...)
My question is: I read a long time ago, when I was a teenager and thought modifying this engine would be worth it, that there are roller rockers available. However, I cant seem to find them anymore. Is it really worth it on this engine? If so, where can I find some?
I figure "while I'm in there, might as well."
If I can pick up a cheap set of headers, I'd like to throw those on too.
Any other upgrades you all would suggest "while I'm in there"?
It's an '00 with ~120,000 miles.
Thanks.

I'm spending less than $500 on this. I am pretty much throwing out the headers idea. Just not worth $350+ on something I am going to swap out in a few years. A 5.0 swap is in the future for sure. If I weren't short on cash and had this truck as my primary form of transportation I'd be doing the swap for sure. This will keep me going for a couple more years and allow me to save up the financial backing to do the 5.0 swap the way I want to: build the motor from the block up.
So any knowledge about the roller rockers? I am going to talk to the shop that reman's heads as needed tomorrow and see if it is possible for them to do it.

Well I wanted roller rockers for the small improvement in MPG and cleaner oil. However, I'd need to swap to 5/8" studs and the cheapest rocker arms from a decent source were $15 each. I think I am just going to throw it back together so I have transportation.
The guys over on Ford Ranger Forums asked for a write up. I am going to try and track down a camera that I dont mind using greasy fingers with. If I do write up, I'll post it here too.

there is a guy from orlando here that sells them. has video, dyno, and textual proof of the gains etc. search it up.

my .02 - An unmodified solid running truck is worth more than any modified truck that doesnt run. Meaning, make sure and spend good money on the gasket and coolant system. Make sure all the damage is fixed before you even consider modifying anything. that is all.
