Bank 1, Sensor 2.

Which side is Bank 1? What does sensor 2 mean?

Is this just the O2 sensor? I did one side quite a while back. Is is advisable to just swap both and are there any others worth swapping?

I had a huge idle problem, but learned my lesson about not using Motorcraft parts for the IAC and TPS. Now the engine runs super smooth, but still idle is hesitant to really just drop back down.

Bank 1 is the side with #1 cylinder....Sensor 2 means downstream (or post cat).
the heater is used to get the O2 up to temp faster.

 

Thanks! That code was mis-leading because both headers come together to run down the passenger side anyway, so yes, bank one but that's the only side post cat. Napa listed two different sensors, but the one I bought barely reached and plugged right in.

Ironic that I had to change every sensor in the idle control group to get my second CEL in 14 years....
