4.0 pistons in a 3.0

is it possible to bore out a 3.0 and put 4.o pistons in it. or maybe put a 4.o crank in a 3.0. the whole point is more power. or does anyone know where to get higher compression kits or cam or anything for the 3.0

shave the heads.. it'll lower the Combustion chamber down to the piston more, and will bump compression.. thats what im doing

cam, go with a set of jusnes modified RR's

It would be less trouble to put in a 4.0, than to try to bore the 3.0 enough to fit the 3.0 pistions, and modify the block to have proper bearing positions to support the 4.0 cam. You should entirely forget the overhead cams.

If a 4.0 is what you want, get a 4.0, lol.

Sell your 3.0 and buy a 4.0... It'll run you about the same cost wise and be a LOT less hassle
