new truck
i just wanted to say hello to everyone im new to the sight and the ranger world.
im 17 and my dad and me have been looking for a nice truck for me and we stumbled onto a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 v6 4x4 with the 2 fold down seats in the back. where going into pick it up tomorrow it seems to run great no problems a few minor scratches and has 60,000 miles on it for $8,000.
i just was wondering if you guys might have a few suggestions on some cheap throw on's or mod's to give it a little extra look. money is pretty tight because i spent almost all on the truck but i wouldnt mind throwing $200-$400 into mods but nothing major. the truck has brand new tires on it and im not sure what size they are but they are about as big as you could go without getting it lifted i would say. i probally wont be doing much off roading with it just a few small trials every once in a blue moon.
thanks a lot guys! and its good to be on the forums

And welcome, since your 4x4 with that 3.0 I would buy some engine mods like intake and exhaust.

thanks a lot the site is great! the truck is running great and im loving it. wayyyy better then the mini van i had been driving.
RentonRanger- my truck looks just like yours without the bed cap same color and features though.
exhaust wise...what would be a good exhaust option? its got a brand new one on it but it looks like a cheapy, but it dosent sound to bad
