the E85 is the problem.....

and you paid to have that stuff done? it would have cost you about $150 maybe to do it yourself...

was that with a fuel mixture? also in the winter gas has a different refining to keep it from watering up....that causes a loss of fuel milage.....have you changed your driving habbits?

I routinely get 315 -325. I have 108,000 miles on it, bought it new. Ran it the first 1000 miles with the oil that came with it and then switched to full synthetic. That is all I have ever run and right now I burn one quart every 6000 miles. Use only 87 Octane. 3.0 L

i have a 16 gallon tank and i have been getting around 280 miles. which is getting me about 18-19 mpg. I just got my new muffler installed and switching out my fuel filter out in a couple of days. So i will let you guys know what changes that has made. I also have a K&N cold air intake.

yeah, it should be going up after a tune up

have you tried going through a few tanks to let things clean up and even out?

I've been getting anywhere from 10.5 (snow day) to 18.2 mpg (all highway) on my 3.0, auto, 2wd, reg cab, '91 ranger.

Stealth,

My mileage is the same. And i only have 35500 miles on my truck. It is the cold weather and the fuel.

I am sorry but 14 MPG on E85 is a Gift! Take it and enjoy it. My mom got 11 MPG on her Taurus with E85. She sold that and bought her focus that gets 35 MPG on regular gas and is a lot more fun to drive. I bet you'd get 17-18 on regular gas. I guarantee a Nissan Titan on E85 won't get 10 MPG. Trust me Buy regular gas, the Price savings isn't enough to cover the difference in mileage.

E85 and cold weather do not go well together since E85 has lower BTU than regular gas and also cold E85 doesn't like to fire up, in south american countries that use nothing but E90 have a small tank under the hood for regular gas so when the engine temp is under 60 degrees so imagine your truck at sub-zero, you also have a 10% ethenol mix in your gas during winter months so the half tank of regular so just run with straight gas and see if that helps

When were your O2's done last?

Checking mileage on E85 will always be disappointing. Runa tank or two of 87 octane and see how it does. If it's below 20, may be time for O2's.
