Icon5 Correct oil for 1999 Ranger 3.0 litre

I own a 1999 Ranger with the 3.0 litre 81,000 miles. The owners manual states to use 5W30 oil, but I have been reading from other forums and oil supplier manuals that the 5W20 Motorcraft Synthetic Blend oil is now recommended for my 3.0. I already buy the 5W20 Mototcraft Synthetic blend for my 2005 Ford Escape with the 2.3 engine. And am buying the 5W30 Motorcraft Synthetic Blend for my Ranger. If it is ok to do, I'd rather just buy the 5W20 and use it in both vehicles.

Mine recommends 5w-20, I use both 20 and 30 and they work fine.
