High pitched squeal from passenger side
Hey guys, I have a 2008, 3.0L 2x4.
Just about an hour ago, as I pulled out of a parking lot, I heard a loud squeal coming from my passenger side. (From around the tire I think..) The brakes are new and as soon as I step on the brake the sound goes away. As I let the clutch out, the high pitched squealing starts and it's loudest when I'm driving slow. Even at moderate speeds (40-50 km/h) the squeal is pretty audible... I should probably add that when the truck is idling, there is no sound what so ever.
This just came out of nowhere, I turned out of the parking lot, drove a few blocks and then all of a sudden this horrible high pitched sound...
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Maybe that shield that goes behind the rotor is rubbing on the rotor?
Maybe the caliper bolts are a little loose and the caliper isn't sitting right until you hit the brakes?
Maybe they didn't put syl-glyde on the back of the pads where it contacts the caliper/caliper piston?
Otherwise, I'd take it back to whoever did your brakes and complain. They should fix it for free if it didn't make that noise before.
