Why wouldn't this fit?

Ok I have a 2002 Ranger Edge 4x2 Supercab Styleside Shortbed. What I want to know is why magnaflow says "Excluding Edge". What the difference? http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...=Trucks&id=964

Well I found it for $360 on www.4wheelparts.com but $400 regular, the 360 is a July 4th sale thing. I have decided I want a magnaflow, and the kit is stainless steel so thats part of the big price tag

Umm, the frames are the same, the engines are the same and piping is the same, they are confused. Just go custom, its alot lot cheaper.

Ok I know the reason for this...I have an EDGE and I got this kit about a 16 months ago...the shop installed it..and about a week later it melted right thru my vent tube (In the same bundle as all the rear wiring). The shop had to install heat blankets under my truck as well as replace the part ($955.00). So I bet the shop *****ed at Magnaflow, and that was there solution. Since then the system works fine, just have that heat blanket under there. There must be something different with out trucks. It is only in one area that it touched....

Well just buy one that fits 4x4's or edges.
I'm betting with the different ride height it gets to close to something.
