OR, just use your FFV injectors on the donor engine and retain your FFV PCM and pump..

I agree with Bob. The main differences are the PCM, wiring to the gas tank, fuel pump/sender assembly, and the injectors.
The flex fuel model is somewhat more versatile and with the larger injectors has the inherent capability of higher fuel flow rates if you can get the air for it. I'd retain the flex fuel equipment and retrofit it on the new engine.
