Exhaust Cutout

Hey, i have an 01' 3.0 v6 ranger. i have a k&n air filter, i did the airbox mod, and i was thinking about buying an exhaust cut out. with this, i dont need to cut my muffler off, and i can still get the same effect. and if i really dont like it, i can just put the include cover on.
here is one on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Summi...spagenameZWDVW
and here is a link to a bunch of them on jegs
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...11529_-1_10245

i was also thinking of adding one of these to it too.

what do you guys think?
each of them is about $35 each.

yeah, it will defiantly sound like crap but it will be loud and fun to drive around for a little while. I say do it as its better than what most people and just cut the muffler off.
