Has anyone had this happen?

Has anyone had this happen? I come to a stop and sometimes (not all the time), my engine feels like it wants to die. I know these trucks idle low and a little rough, but this has happened a couple of times lately. It kept running though. The light turned green and then I hammered. Runs great only at a stop it seems weird. Any suggestions? Oh and it happens with and without AC on…

2003 Ranger XLT, 3.0, 2wd, auto w/OD, stock.

Try cleaning your IAC. (Idle Air Control valve)

That would be my first step.
If that works, good. If it works for "a while", then starts doing it again, replace the IAC.

That would be your Vaccum Line, it didn't shut when you started up the truck, so it is suckin in the air and that is why you are getting the vibration! Had mine replaced 4 times under warranty when I first got the truck.

?

There are several vaccum lines on the trucks... It may have a bad brake booster...

haha..I'm just saying, check the vaccum lines, that is what was causin my truck to vibrate alot when sittin there. I wouldn't be able to pin point which one, but if it is doin the same thing like mine was, then I would be givin him a def place to look first though..
