Ok so here is my issue guys.
I own a 1999 Mazda 4x4 3.0 the motor over heated and cracked the heads so I planned to swap it for a 4.0 from a 4x4 2000 model ranger. I found a whole truck that was from a roll over. I finished the swap and now the truck won't start.

Scenario 1
3.0 computer, pats, key and ignition plug all replaced and nothing happens.

No fuel and no spark

Scenario 2
3.0 computer, pats, key and ignition plug kept in and it tries to start but does not stay running.

Gets fuel and spark but does not seem to keep spark.

I was wondering if there was something wrong with the computer from the 4.0 since it was a roll over.

It would be very easy if I could just bring it to a dealership but I'm located in Central America where the closest dealership is 8 hrs away. It would be great for some help.

 

you may have already done so but you may want to check for cracks and or dents in the computer housing
