Hello all... looking for some help fixing my 99 Ranger XLT 4x4 3.0 Flex / 4r44e...
The problem is that whenever the truck is put into Park and then put into Drive, it takes about 30 seconds before it actually shifts into Drive... after this point it drives/shifts/reverses just fine...(there is no hesitation when going from Park to Reverse or from a full brake).
Heres what I've done so far... replaced gaskets on VB
, upgraded VB
with Transgo kit, replaced shift solenoid and EPC solenoid... new tranny filter and fluid... all bolts are properly torqued, cleaned MAF sensor, replaced Throttle Body sensor, and retightened the intermediate and overdrive band adjustment bolts ( loosened 2 turns back but was so loose that I later re-tightened it 1 turn... so now its 1 turn loose from torque)
So, I don't know what else I can do aside from rebuilding the transmission... any suggestions?
