bought an 01 ford escape throttle body.

I was wondering if i could still use my stock intake tube or will have to make my own cold air intake? my truck is a 02 ranger 3.0 flex composite upper. Ive read lots of threads on this but knowbody said u would have to change the intake tube. Thanks for your replies.

It sure looks like you need a new intake tube by the photos.

I would like to know anybody that's done this and if it was worth it. Seems like it would really up the air flow with a good set of headers and the throttle body.

Icon14 Installed finally

Got my throttle body installed tonight but with lots of patients and work. Yah u have to change the intake tube so i got that fixed. I really do feel the difference the bigger throttle body made. I would recomend this to anybody with about $80 and some patients and time.
