the best tune up points

I have noticed lately that my truck has been getting wayyy more sluggish than it used to be. It has actually gotten slower since I put on the exhaust, air intake, plugs and wires. Just checking to see what the main things are I should look at when I do a tune up to her. I know I need the engine cleaned out, I am gonna get the transmission drained (not flushed), change the differential fluid and pretty much all other fluids. Anything else anybody can think of? I know there has to be something.

I have an 05 and had 1/2" slack in my cable. I used zip-ties, put them in at the store and tested it on the way home.

I did it to my 02 and was able to fit three zip ties on the cable, man what a difference.

It is located on your driveside frame rail under you cab, it is shaped like a cylinder and has a line going into each end. to remove it you will need to get a fuel line disconnect tool and bleed your fuel pressure, which can be done by pulling your fuel pump fuse while your truck is running. Once you remove the filter the new one just connects right back up.(you will probably have some fuel spray out when you go to remove the old filter it has happened to me everytime.

When i went to advance auto i told them that i had a flex fuel 3.0 and they came back with a filter with only 2 inlets (mine has 3). They double checked the part number and that matched up. So they looked at the regular 3.0 and it had 3 so i took that and put it in and it works.

A complete waste of time unless your throttle plate isn't opening all the way. If it is, this does NOTHING.
