Recently, my 2001 3.0 V6 4x4 became difficult to start, especially when cold. It cranks fine, but doesn't start for several seconds and then runs rough at first. After I drive it, it starts a little quicker but not always. No engine light comes on and it seems to be getting worse. I thought it might be bad fuel, but I've been thru several tanks of gas since it started acting up. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

 

Weak fuel pump or plugged fuel filter.

 

sounds like your spark plugs need replacing

 

Mine has been doing the same thing, and my battery eventually died. After replacing the battery, it starts just fine.
